Fatjo's Mixed Martial Arts is your local training academy dedicated to it's students continual growth both mentally and physically through Mixed Martial Arts. We are goal orientated. The goals are to build a strong mind, achieve personal and physical aims, learn and attain self-disipline, confidence and a positive attitude towards life.

We strive for teaching and training excellence. With our motivation and experience there are no limitations of what we can accomplish together.

Our children's program guarantees better listening skills, physical fitness and improved self-confidence. We track our student's progress in school as well as at home. We are a parents' best allie when it comes to developing a child's respect, self-confidence and physical fitness.

Fatjo's Mixed Martial arts offers a blend of Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling.

The art of Muay Thai Kickboxing was originated in Thailand and is the number one stand up art of self-defense in the world. The student will learn to develop their kickboxing techniques along with superior coordination, motor skills, balance and power. Your child's best physical shape is one of our goals.

Submission Grappling is the art of ground defense. The concept is children being able to defend themselves if they are tackled to the ground in a self-defense situation.

The FMMA Grappling program will give the children the ability to properly defend themselves on the ground. They will learn to sense body positioning and how to use that to control their opponent. They will also be taught to recognize submission holds, locks, escapes and reversals.

As the child begins to progress with the techniques and positioning, they will begin to train with their fellow students at a higher speed. The opportunity to apply what they have learned in actual matches with their classmates is what sets our program above any other schools training. This difference in training and philosophy is what has brought the award of "TOP NEW TEAM IN NORTH AMERICA", through the North American Grappling Association, to Fatjo's MMA in 2002.
